Scouting
The word “scouts “can be explained as,.
• S – Smartness.
• C – Courtesy.
• O – Obedience.
• U – Usefulness.
• T – Trustworthiness.
Many activities are done by this group for the benefit of our school. They have organized camping and concerts and they also try to build up good attitudes of the students and improve their capabilities.
Here are our senior scouts.

• Treasure – Thilana Roshan Dathasinha.
• Quarter Master – Rukshan Wimukthi & Kasun Chathuranga.
• Assistant quarter master – Prasad Algama & Dulshan Chanuka.
• Troop leader board – Pushipika Kumara.
• Discipline cooperator – Sahan Diluka.
Our Achivements
- 2003 – 3rd place in all island.

Histroy of our Scout Group.
- This was started in 1942.
- K.Hettiarcchi participated in the jamboree in Bangladesh on 23rd of December 1989 and he also went to India 1990.
- Sampath Abesekara, Kapila Kalyane, Ajith Pradeep, got the presidential award at Royal College on 29th may 1987.
- On 25th sep. in 1988 Mr. J.R. Jayawordene and his wife visited our campaign. Which was organized for the 50th Anniversary of our school.
- On 14th Feb. 1990 scouts participated in the jamboree which was organized at Viharamahadavi Vidyalaya.
- In 2001 they received the championship of district rally conducted at Christu Raja Vidyalaya.
- On 26th Dec. in 2003 Dinusha Kumara and Gayan Lakmal participated in the 20th world jamboree in Thailand.
- Buddika Lassantha Perera, Janaka, Heshan Duminda,Udesh Monaragala, Participated in the Scout Millennium jamboree in Singapore on 1st and 2nd Jan. 2000.
