Our Photographic club was estahished in year 1998 With the instruction of the former principal Mr.J.Gunathilaka and the teacher incharge was Sisal Senanayaka. At present it has been recunstrueted by our present principal A.G.nimal jayaweera in_______________and the teacher incharge is Sooriya Kumara Jayalath. There are sixty members now in our club.

• The activities can be categorized as follows.
• Teaching photography as an extra curricular activity.
• Taking the children on field expeditions with the hope of giving the children
• Practical training of photography
• Encouraging children by taking picture of mild life.
• Holding exhibitions.
• Holding conferences and work shop.
• The outer association which have involved with our club
• FIELD ORNITHOLOGY GROUP OF SRI LANKA Univercity of Colombo Young zoologers’ Association.
• Professional Photographers’ Association.

• This………..held in the main hall of Sri Dharmaloka college and organized by both photographic club and ……………………….This was guided by professional lecture Lal Hagoda.70 children were contributed to this from viddyalaya Vihara Mahadevi Viddyalaya,Gurukula College,Shantha Pawulu , Helena Vijayawardene “St Fransis”
• Kumara Viddyalaya ,Chandarathna .
• The Exhibition held by Mahamaya Viddyalaya was fully sponsored by Our school and our school teacher Sooriya Kumara Jayalath lectured on photography.
• Professional photographer keerthirathne lecture to our members of club once for a week
