Buddhist Society

The Buddhist Association of Sri Dharmaloka College also has commenced with the establishment of the school. The history runs as long as the history of the school. the school was established in the Dhamma hall of Vidyalankara Pirivena to teach English for Buddhist students, in honour of 50th birthday of venerable Dhammaloka thero. We can proudly declare that there wasn’t any short in guidance and help to the association to achieve the objectives. When we unfold the secret behind its massive success is the comprehensive dedication of some reverend incumbents, who had been in the school staff, should be respected.

• Ven, Brahakmanawatthe Seevali thero.

• Ven, Marapane Vigitha thero.

And at present incumbents are Ven, Napagoda Sumanathissa Thero and Ven, Mahava Seelananda thero.
